To support and build resilience of human and environmental rights defenders including journalists and Indigenous People at risk through our pro bono legal protection program and crisis response services in a holistic way of support.

2- Legal Empowerment

To seek to empower members of the legal, grassroots, and NGO communities working on human rights, media, environmental rights, labour rights and fair trial rights through capacity building with a view to equipping them on the ground with practical knowledge, skills and tools to advocate for themselves or their communities with private sector’s actors and authorities and to strengthen restitution mechanisms for human rights abuses or environmental damage.

To seek to strengthen the rule of law by building the capacity of lawyers to deliver effective legal aid.

3- Research & Analysis

To work constructively and strategically with private sector’s actors, authorities, national government agencies and policymakers to strengthen mandatory human rights and environmental due diligence in business operations and national policy reforms.

To facilitate constructive dialogues between relevant affected stakeholders including communities, companies, authorities, courts and government agencies to enable positive changes in practice and policy aiming to increase compliance.
