On 9 October 2024, BHRLG delivered a half-day training session on human rights and environmental due diligence (HREDD) and how to respond to the needs for HREDD practices and compliance to suppliers, brands and civil society members. The event was co-organized by Textile, Apparel, Footwear & Travel Goods Association in Cambodia (TAFTAC), RBH Cambodia, and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) through the GIZ FABRIC Cambodia project.

On 31 January 2025, BHRLG provided expert’s insights during a peer-to-peer reflection session for representatives from suppliers after their two-day sessions of interactive training on the HREDD concept, risk assessment tools to identify human rights and environmental risks and best practices to enhance due diligence in business activities. The event was organized jointly by Cambodian Garment Training Institute, Euro Cham’s Responsible Business Hub and GIZ Cambodia. The training was delivered after publication of the “Design Your Own HREDD Approach” guide, a practical resource aimed at assisting Garment, Footwear, and Textile manufacturers in developing their Human Rights & Environmental Due Diligence strategies while making progress toward sustainability. The guide was created by Textile, Apparel, Footwear & Travel Goods Association in Cambodia (TAFTAC), in collaboration with Sustainable Links, Business & Human Rights Law Group, and RBH Cambodia, with support from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) through the GIZ FABRIC Cambodia project.

On 10 October 2024, with the support from UNESCO Cambodia, BHRLG conducted a workshop on freedom of expression and roles of law enforcement and judicial actors in protecting safety of journalists in Phnom Penh for 25 participants who are lawyers, legal professions, judges and prosecutors (6 women).

On 8 August 2024, with the support from UNESCO Cambodia, BHRLG conducted a workshop on freedom of expression and roles of law enforcement and judicial actors in protecting safety of journalists in Siem Reap province with participation from deputy school principal, professors, lecturers, staff, and junior and senior law students with the total number of 104 participants including 64 females.
